Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Kindgi provides two things:
- Kindgi tools (primary offering) — small language model (SLM)-powered analyzers for financial and legal documents. Available anonymously at kindgi.com and privately in a signed-in workspace at v3.kindgi.com.
- Agentic Extension (opt-in) — for users who use our agent workflows to connect external accounts or services. See §7.
Different data flows apply to each. This policy covers both; sections below note which surface applies.
2. Information We Collect
For Kindgi tools:
- Content you upload or paste into a tool (PDFs, prompts, tool inputs) — collected on both anon and signed-in surfaces
- Account data (email, authentication) — signed-in workspace only
- Automatically: usage data, technical device information, log data, error reports
For the Agentic Extension: additional data flows apply depending on which external services you connect. See §7.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Kindgi tools
- Process your uploads and produce the analysis you requested
- Communicate about your account and our services (signed-in only)
- Provide customer support
- Detect and address security threats
- Comply with legal obligations
4. AI and Data Processing
Your content is processed on infrastructure Kindgi operates. Prompts, uploaded documents (CIMs, merger agreements, filings, bank statements, PDFs), and model output are handled on Kindgi-controlled inference servers. We do not send your content to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Cohere, Mistral, etc.). This is a design choice, not a policy promise — we self-host our models on our own compute.
What that means concretely:
- Small Language Model (SLM) inference runs on a private GPU instance we operate, not on a hosted AI API.
- Document extraction (turning PDFs into structured text and tables) runs on a service we operate on Google Cloud Run — Kindgi-controlled compute, not a third-party AI product.
- We do not train models on your data. Content you upload is used only to produce the analysis you requested, then handled per §5 (Data Retention).
5. Data Retention
Retention depends on which surface you used:
- Anonymous tools at kindgi.com — uploads and results are stored temporarily against a shareable link and purged after roughly 90 days. Email [email protected] with the run URL for earlier deletion.
- Signed-in workspace at v3.kindgi.com — we retain your account data and stored uploads for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual runs from your project or delete the whole account by contacting support.
We may retain minimal records (audit logs, billing artifacts, legal-hold copies) for legitimate business purposes or as required by law, even after the primary content is removed.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Access controls and authentication requirements
- Regular security assessments
- Kindgi-operated inference infrastructure (no third-party AI processors)
No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. A dedicated Trust page with our full security overview is planned.
7. Agentic Extension
For agent workflows that connect to external accounts (e.g., email, calendar, source control, storage), additional data flows apply. When you connect an external account:
- We access only the data required by the specific agent action you configured.
- Data flows through the external provider's API on your behalf, subject to their terms.
- Kindgi does not persist raw external content beyond what is needed to complete the workflow.
Contact [email protected] for the full data-practices document specific to any external integration you plan to use.
8. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Limited sharing occurs only:
- Service providers — cloud hosting (Google Cloud, Cloudflare), analytics providers we operate
- Legal requirements — court orders, valid legal process
- Business transfers — merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with appropriate notice)
- With your consent — when you explicitly authorize us to share specific information
9. Your Rights and Choices
- Anonymous tools — request deletion of a run by emailing [email protected] with the run URL.
- Signed-in workspace — access, correct, export, or delete your data from your account settings, or by contacting support.
- Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), or similar laws — contact us to exercise them.
10. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies and, where you accept them, product analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how the Service is used. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
11. International Data Transfers
Kindgi is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information may be processed in the US or in cloud regions we operate (US, EU). We use standard contractual clauses where required.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date; where legally required, we will provide direct notice.
